John Doyle
John Doyle has lived in the Bronx nearly his entire life. Following graduation, John worked for Senator Klein as his Community Affairs Director, his work including helping secure the first air monitoring of the Throggs Neck interstate corridor. During the foreclosure crisis, John advocated for Senator Klein’s legislation to be implemented at the local level, forcing negligent banks to secure dozens of properties throughout the district. He understands the importance of confronting quality of life problems, from fighting overdevelopment in City Island to arranging town halls to restoring bus service between Country Club and Westchester Square; he will continue to be a champion for all twelve communities within our district. For John, it’s about bringing people together from different backgrounds and viewpoints to work for the common good. John continues to reside on City Island, a few blocks away from where he was raised and where his parents continue to reside
